Creative Sentencing: Woman Apologizes to Officer with Public Sign

by James Gunter on January 13, 2010

Public humiliation as a creative punishment for criminals is not a new thing. In fact, it’s almost a regular feature on this blog (as you can see here, here, and here). Creative sentencing is usually brought about as an alternative to a harsher sentence. In this case, it appears to be in lieu of deportation, but the public humiliation of this woman is also being used as a way to inform the general public about police officer assaults. THIS IS GREAT. We should use more sentencing like Singapore doe’s. Where they have public exacution’s, flogging, caneing, and so on. If it was televised I feel alot of these turd’s would think twice before commiting a crime.
